St. Hilda’s College was founded in 1893 by Dorothea Beale. The college is located in Oxford, a city in the South-East of England, famous for its beautiful architecture and academic history. The college grounds are on the banks of the River Cherwell, where students are able to experience punting. St. Hilda’s is positioned only minutes away from the main high street, providing students with a fantastic chance to explore this world-famous city and its main attractions such as Oxford Castle, Carfax Tower and the Ashmolean Museum.
During the summer, St. Hilda’s College is the location of Bucksmore Education summer courses. Established in 1979, Bucksmore Education is an award-winning academic short course provider. We aim to support every student towards achieving their goals, whether this is studying at a top UK boarding school or university, or becoming a future leader in business, politics, or any other sphere of life.
St. Hilda’s College’s gardens and greenery provides a picturesque backdrop for studying an Intensive English language course in a peaceful setting. The accommodation at St. Hilda’s consists of single and twin bedrooms in separate male and female accommodation blocks, and bathrooms are shared between 4-6 students.
The Bucksmore Education courses hosted at St. Hilda’s College enable students to immerse themselves into the English language and experience life in the environment of a top British university.
