Brasenose College was founded in 1509 by Sir Richard Sutton and William Smyth. The college is located in Oxford, a city in the South-East of England, famous for its beautiful architecture and academic history. The college sits next to the world-renowned Bodleian Library and Radcliffe Camera. Being positioned only minutes away from the main high street provides students with a fantastic chance to explore this world-famous city and its main attractions such as Oxford Castle, Carfax Tower and the Ashmolean Museum.
During the summer, Brasenose College is the location of Bucksmore Education summer courses. Established in 1979, Bucksmore Education is an award-winning academic short course provider. We aim to support every student towards achieving their goals, whether this is studying at a top UK boarding school or university, or becoming a future leader in business, politics, or any other sphere of life.
The main site is located opposite the Radcliffe Camera in the centre of Oxford. Bucksmore bedrooms and classrooms are located in Frewin Court, a minute’s walk from Cornmarket Street, Oxford’s busiest shopping area, whilst meals are taken in Old Court, next to the world-famous Radcliffe Camera.
The Bucksmore Education courses hosted at Brasenose College enable students to experience life as an Oxford undergraduate and network with like-minded, high-achieving students from around the world.
