To standardise this process, we created the OBAS Group Recruiter Assessment, OGRA for short. The assessment aims to ensure a fair, consistent and thorough process is undertaken to vet each application we receive from educational recruiters or agents – maintaining our high quality and customer experience standards.

After a recruiter has completed and returned the recruiter’s application pack, OBAS Group assessors will begin evaluating the submission against the OGRA standard. If the initial requirements are met, prospective recruiters are invited to a virtual interview. After the interview, successful applicants are invited to join the OBAS Group as an OBAS-approved recruiter.
The OGRA assessment applies to educational recruiters, also commonly known as agents. Companies that employ multiple recruiters are assessed as one entity, providing there are suitable internal mechanisms in place to maintain quality and integrity, granting verified status to the company’s recruitment staff under the company’s name. Schools and other educational institutions are not assessed under this standard.
